The Heliski package you book with Liquid Snow Tours and Southern Lakes Heliski is an all-inclusive product from door to door. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Queenstown or Wanaka and transport you and your gear to the departure point. The best terrain for the day is dictated by snowfall, weather conditions and skiers/boarders ability.

Southern Lakes Heliski has 26 years experience in the industry and has by far the most terrain options of any other operator, boasting 5500 sq/km+ of exclusive terrain across 9 different mountain ranges and offering in excess of 400 potential runs, including Glacier Skiing options and the highest terrain available in the region. Southern Lakes Heliski has exclusive access to the amazing Clarke Glacier located in the Forbes mountain range which also includes exclusive access to the Highest elevation Heliski terrain available in Queenstown or Wanaka of Mt Head at 2585 Meters.

Safety is our number one priority and the guides will issue you with an avalanche transceiver, teaching you all you need to know to ensure your safety in the mountains. Finally, accompanied by your guide and group you will set off for the thrill of your life!

After a few runs, lunch will be served, a buffet style of hot and cold cuisine right there in the mountains! A few more runs to tire you out and then we will happily get you back to your accommodation returning all your rental gear so you can relax and revel in your wonderful day.

Our Heli Shred packages come with the Classic heliski day, which includes 4 runs. This is the most popular option as it can be tailored to suit all ski levels. If you are looking to push the boundaries you can upgrade your package to the Max Vert option, allowing you to push the limits and ride 6 runs in the day. And if that doesn't satisfy you, you can upgrade further to the Ultimate day, which is 8 runs in the Mount Aspiring National Park. This means we can tailor a day to suit you and your willingness to shred!
